Water is the most important component of our environment. After air, water is the second most important component necessary for human life. The importance of water is evidenced by the fact that its content in various organs is 70 - 90%. An adult can live without food for more than a month, and without water for several days. Dehydration of the body by 10% leads to physical and mental incapacity. Loss of 20% of water leads to death. Within 24 hours, 3 to 6% of the water contained in the body undergoes exchange. Half of the water contained in the body is exchanged within 10 days.

From the words of Ubayy bin Ka'b that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When the angel Jibril (peace be upon him) knocked out Zamzam with his heel, the mother of Ismail (peace be upon him) Hajar began to collect water in the depression." Then the Prophet ﷺ said: "May Allah have mercy on Hajar, if she had left him, he would have become a stream flowing on the earth" (Imam an-Nasai). Zamzam for drinking and for curing a number of diseases mentioned by the Prophet Muhammad. The well of Zamzam and the water from it are a miracle, and therefore this water, according to a number of Islamic scholars, can be called holy. Also, if you drink this water after the prayer-dua (a special prayer-petition), then the prayer will be strengthened",
Scientists have proven that zamzam has healing properties due to the high content of calcium and magnesium salts in it, due to which the water becomes bactericidal. It also contains chemical elements such as iron, manganese, copper, calcium, magnesium, chlorides and sulfates.
This water is often said to be a medicine for the soul and body. "He who drinks zamzam will receive what he drinks it for," says the hadith.
This is evidence that the water from the spring in the holy Mecca has healing powers. And if a person drinks it with the sincere intention of fulfilling his need, be it physical or mental, finding peace and getting rid of anxiety, Allah will answer him in His mercy.
